Jim has been painting for over thirty-five years,
primarily in watercolor and acrylics.
His
main interests in subject matter are landscapes and
street scenes. His works reflect local subjects and
reference material inspired by his travels.
In addition to taking various college-level art classes, he
has participated in workshops
and studied with many fine local artists.
He has taken instruction under numerous nationally
renowned artists while attending the Arrowmont School of
Arts and Crafts.
His works have been accepted in several national juried
shows, including SWS, SWA, Stars of Texas, and Bosque Arts
Center.
