ART FOR KIDS--AN ARLINGTON TRADITION
Children at The Upstairs Gallery are always welcomed!
We pride ourselves on the
Year Round Classes and programs available to
children and teens.
Kids
build their skills in painting, drawing, weaving, clay and
three-D sculpture. Experience an art gallery of modern artists.
Explore the elements of art.
Examine artists and their art from the past.
SUPPLIES
- CLASSES FOR ADULTS AND TEENAGERS
You can join these classes at anytime. New students get special
attention getting started.
Basic Kit for Acrylics or
Watercolor:
Arches 140 lb. cold-press watercolor paper (or you can use
canvas for acrylics). 1” flat brush & #12 round brush. Basic
colors in watercolor or acrylics: cadmium red light, ultramarine
blue, burnt Sienna, yellow oxide, and Hooker's green. Paper
towels. Masking
tape. A watercolor or acrylic palette. Spray bottle. Plastic
water container.
